Good News from Canada
MCD on the podium

Report from Maher Busedra, Cardinal Racing, Canada:

The Canadian Nationals was held on July 16th to 18th in Ontario, Canada. For the first time in North America, two MCD RR5s were on the track and took first and third place in the final race. Mark Sousa and Ken Deline both did an amazing job on the track in qualifying and finals, with Mark taking first and Ken taking third. Mark Sousa's buggy was set up with 90 degree ramps in the front, middle and rear without a top brace and small brace that connects to the lay shaft. We discovered that the RR5 with an LSD rear differential is unstoppable. Ken Deline drove the prototype and managed to take third in the finals. Unfortunately, the OFSOC look at a racer's overall average to determine his place at the podium, rather than looking at his final race.
Overall, because of its speed and control on the track, the MCD got a lot of attention from the crowd, including top drivers from the US who were very interested in trying the RR5 for the very first time.
