The second Ice Racing Competition and the 6th X4 Rally Cup Competition of the year was held in Hyvinkää on February 11th. Weather was very nice not snowing and temperature was -8 degree. 21 competitors participated in the race. Competition started at 10am and finished around 5pm. In total 600 laps were run including practice.
X4 Rally Cup class winner was as expected, Pekka Heikkilä who took a win at the previous race. Pekka managed a 20 seconds difference win ahead of the second driver Juha Rousku, for whom was a surprise since this was Juha´s first Ice Racing Competition with large scale. Juha, said that the 1/5 had a real-scale feel to it after the race. 22 seconds behind from Juha came Jani Hovi with his FG Mini whom have taken Finnish Championships for many classes.
Open class winner was Esa Myllymaa who is a MCD driver for a long time and has won MCD Cup Finland 2009. Second was Antti Härmälä who also has owned many MCD cars for a long time. Antti,  whose speciality is Ice Racing, had his best position in his racing history. Jari Paasikivi managed to finish third with his new MCD RRV4 Factory Team Car, though he struggled some engine running problems, during the race.
This was an opportunity for Pekka Heikkilä to test his new MCD CVD´s and aluminum wishbones and he was very happy with them commenting that now he could use all of  his skills and drive the car at the limits and very aggressively.
